St. Mary\u2019s students and faculty value applied research and field study to enhance classroom study.<\/p>\n
Affiliations with Historic St. Mary\u2019s City,\u00a0Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum, and the Maryland Archaeological Conservation Laboratory generate rich opportunities for students to engage in internships, independent studies, laboratory work, and hands-on professional research.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
Study beyond St. Mary\u2019s, and branch out. There are opportunities through Historic St. Mary\u2019s City to participate in hands-on learning.<\/p>\n
A 10-week course in archaeological methodology sponsored by Historic St. Mary\u2019s City in partnership with St. Mary\u2019s College.<\/p>\n
Research Methods course (ANTH385)<\/strong><\/p>\n You have the option to design and carry out archaeology surveys at properties in St. Mary\u2019s county.
