Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT)
Our 10-month program will give students a strong knowledge base and understanding of child and adolescent development. If you want to succeed in schools, this is the place to start. The MAT program is a strong community of students, faculty, and staff that join together to ensure a brighter future for the children they teach.

Master of Arts in Counseling & Clinical Psychology (MCCP)
The 2-year Master of Arts in Counseling & Clinical Psychology at SMCM is grounded in psychological science and designed to meet state licensing requirements. Through coursework and clinical experience, students learn the foundational principles and techniques of counseling and clinical practice. Graduates will be license-eligible as LCPCs (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors) or may choose to pursue a PhD in Counseling or Clinical Psychology.
Academic Partnerships
Our academic partnerships expand opportunities for students through collaborative degree pathways and programs with leading universities. From graduate pathways to dual-degree programs, these partnerships help students build on their SMCM education while preparing for advanced study and careers.
Health Professions Advising
