Media, Literacy and Civic Engagement and Democracy Project (MLCED)
The MLCED Project is a multiyear project sponsored by The Steny H. Hoyer Center for the Study of Democracy and the Hilda C. Landers Library, Archives and Media Center to inform St. Mary’s College students, faculty, staff and the southern Maryland community on the important relationship between the media and American democracy.
The project has featured workshops, lectures, film screenings, and community conversations.
